Please do not make a reservation at this place. There was no reservation when we arrived, staff had no clue even though I showed them the receipt. I had to dispute the charge to get a refund. The reservation was for 20 people, it was my birthday so naturally I am not paying for anyhting on my birthday. My friends paid for everything cash or on their card. They're very dishonest in that they claim deposit to make a reservation is refundable as long as you're there on time. They didn't refund me my money because I didnt get bottle service on my tab (the deposit for the reservation). I placed a complaint with the attorney general's office *consumer protection* department and the BBB. I sent documenation and proof that this company and the owner are very dishonest in the way that they do business. Please report this business if they keep your deposit after you follow all their rules for the supposed refundable reservation fee!

I visited this restaurant as a recommendation from a friend. I went in with all high hopes but was quickly disappointed. When my boyfriend and I got there, we were the only ones in the restaurant, and still received poor service. The girls that worked there were sitting on the bar on their phones and smoking as we were sitting and having drinks at the very same bar just a few feet away.



We proceeded to our table for dinner and the food was very good. We only got sushi and it was excellent quality for the price! But then things got sour again when we asked for our check, With an hour left for us to get the train. Since we made a reservation, we had to place a $25 deposit which the website said would be either put towards our bill or refunded. We had a gift card so the remainder of the bill was not quite $25. When we asked the waitress about getting refunded our deposit, she insisted that it was taken off our bill. Once we proved that it was not, she said that they do not refund the money!!



We insisted that she checked with the manager about this since it is clearly stated on their website that they do. For some reason, they could not refund the money to the credit card that we paid for, so we had to get a hand written check. Though this all seems very simple, we were not able to make our train home on time because it took 1 hour between the time that we asked for our check to get the refund. To top it off, the waitress never sympathized with us waiting for so long, or her telling us lies. She was very rude and acted as though we were irritating her. All we wanted was our deposit back!



Oh, and on top of it all, the waitress decided to give herself a very generous 20% gratuity tip. Now, I've worked in the restaurant business for over 5 years and I always tip at least 20% unless something major goes wrong. In this case, I would have never given her that much!



This is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever! Though the sushi was good, the quality of service and how we were treated was not worth it!!!!!!
