The Pelo Salon advertised a $125 sew-in special on Instagram. I called and got Bunny. There were several things about my experience that made it the worst ever. The first is I arrived on time for my 10am appointment and Bunny proceeded to do 3 walk ins while she did my hair. I was at Pelo from 10 am until after 5pm.I asked Bunny on the phone at least 3 times if the invisible part weave was included in the $125 special. Bunny assured me over the phone that the style I wanted was included. When I was in her chair I asked how long the special was going on...further confirmation of the price. When I was finally done the owner Camelya told me the price was $175, up from $125! I was appauled that she would change the price after my hair was done.Bunny did my hair too tight...I told her it was tight and she didn't do anything to fix it. She also did not do a good invisible part...asking me if I thought the part was good. The tracks were showing and the part was way too wide. It was so tight I had to take it out within a week.I had pain, scabbing, and a bald spot as a result.I called my credit card company to dispute the $50 extra dollars I was charged but I wish I had disputed the entire amount. I tried to speak with Camelya, the owner by phone and email and she ignored me. I guess she couldn't learn anything from this bad customer service experience. I have pictures as a reminder of how horrible if an experience this was. Visit the Pelo Salon AT YOUR OWN RISK and bring extra money in case Camelya decides to change the price on you.

I have been coming to Pelo for about 6 months and the salon is very classy. I enjoy the welcoming feeling. Camela is very fast and her hair cuts last for a long time. Pelo has a positive and pleasant atmosphere. I leave the salon always satisfied and my hair is very soft and healthy.

I highly reccomend Pelo my daughter and I have been going there for about a year. Her quality of work is stellar. She provides individual quality care. My daughters hair has become healthier and longer since she started coming to Pelo. The shop is clean and the clientelle while from all walks of life are wonderful because of who she is and what she brings to the shop...her heart. Her clientelle is also of all ages it is just fun to see the little ones with appropriate hair styles all the way up to the new 30...ie those of us in the 50's leaving with a refreshed wow look. If you are looking for a classy elegant place to go then Pelo is the place for you...you will not be dissapointed.

The owner Camelya is a great stylist, very talented and fast (I mean really fast). She has been my stylist for several years and recently opened The Pelo Salon, which has a very boutique chic feel to it?it?s truly a great place to be pampered! My husband loves my hair each time I get it done by Camelya! :-)
