I am an idiot. I've seen the commercials about "backing up your data" and completely ignored them. Low and behold I turned on my computer one day and nothing! No pictures, no music, no icons, nothing! I left my computer at Best Buy, received a call and was told everything was gone. My hard drive would have to be mailed to a data recovery place. He said it would be anywhere from $800.00 to $2500.00! When I told him I don't have that kind of money, he replied smugly, "well you should have backed up your data". I picked up my computer and it sat in a corner of my basement for months. I was having a BBQ, a cousin asked about it and I told her the story. She said to let her "guy" look at it. I called the Tom the next day. He picked it up, later that night called a told me it was a virus hiding all my files and it would be $150.00 total to repair!! I couldn't believe it. He brought it back the next day and setup automatic backup too. These guys are awesome!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
