I adopted the most wonderful companion dog there and the manager and the staff was very helpful and very caring making sure the caller was correct size letting me walk the dog to go through The store they really care and all the staff should be is informed as the manager however if they don't know something they find the person who does they are very helpful I've shopped there for years when I had a bunny rabbit and always found it very good service I looked in many shelters and was very surprised to find this beautiful rescue dog at pets plus and I'm very happy with her I would recommend this store to look at pets for adoption

There aren't many pet stores that compare with Pet's Plus. Their variety, cleanliness, friendliness, and prices are unmatched. I have exhausted all the pet stores in the area, stopping into one's as I pass, but I always find everything I need here. The puppies are adorable and the fish are lively in their tanks. Place is always clean, which makes me keep coming back.

I came in here yesterday and I would have to say that this store is very well put together and clean. I was able to find what I was looking for quickly because of the helpful staff. The puppies look very healthy and energetic which is a good thing to look for when your interested in looking for a new puppy. i like this place it was a fun trip.

I've been coming to the Pets Plus on Welsh and the Blvd ever since they opened and I have to say they have a really nice store. The animals look very happy and very well taken care of. the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and I count on them for all my help. I've gotten my bunny rabbit from here and also my fish tank. Everyone is doing well. I highly recommend this store to all my friends. Thank you Pets Plus for all of your help

I cant believe of the good reviews pet plus is the worst all of their dog come form puppy mills I know my wife got ripped off a on a beagle that was butcher form a hernia operation that they never told me about he was loaded with worms has an enlarge heart and has chronic diarrhea

this pet store NEEDS to be shut down for GOOD

back in March of 2012 I saved my puggle from a "FREE PUPPY" ad on a certin place...I read over all her papers and did some digging just to see where she came from...Pets Plus gets ALL puppies from Puppy Mills....mine came from Quantus Center (David & Miriam Hershberger) in Ohio...being as they have changed the name of the Puppy Mill several times I looked into the Hershbergers many many complaints...Pet stores are the NUMBER ONE reason for Puppy Mills....Please DO NOT ENABLE PUPPY MILLS....Adopt there are so many even purebreads :)

As far as Pets Plus as a supplier for product I think the have good prices and plenty in stock items

NEW puppy! I've decided to venture out Black Friday weekend and having been wanting a puppy for some time now. I went in to Pets Plus and purchased the first one I laid eyes on. He is the cutest puppy!



As I had many concerns about everything said about pet stores and their animals I took the plunge and went with my gut. My spaniel is extremely healthy took him to get checked out and the vet said he is perfect! This one of the best and easiest experiences at this pet store.

For a pet store this place is surprisingly clean and have the best prices around in my book. Would definitely recommend to any pet owner!

Just took on the responsibility of a rescue dog and have been heading to Pets Plus for all of my supplies. This is a whole new experience for me and the staff here has been really helpful. From supplies to treats they got everything I need which is a blessing. Will be making many frequent trips to here needless to say

I liked this store a lot. They had everything I needed and there were some employees on the floor willing to help answer some of my questions. It also had a great atmosphere for their animals. I would shop here again.

Please NEVER shop here. This store is disgusting and deserves to be shut down. It has recently moved into a smaller location at Welsh and the Boulevard, and I went in praying for better conditions. I walked back to the reptiles and the first thing I see is a Uromastyx face down, dead in an inch of water. As if that wasn't bad enough, a Uromastyx is a DESERT reptile, so why there was an inch of water at the bottom of the cage is beyond me.



Thankfully, it seems like they no longer have dogs and cats, but that still doesn't change the fact that hundreds of animals come through this store to either suffer and die, or be sold to costumers who they wrongly inform of the care needs of their new pets, and suffer and die regardless.



This store will give you nightmares! Save yourself the heartache of seeing dead animals in a cage next to signs that say "we care", and never step foot into this establishment! Also, do not believe any positive reviews, they're obviously written by store employees.

The Philadelphia location has the most adorable dogs on the planet. I would recommend anyone looking for help to raise their new animals because these employees know what they are talking about. They care about the customers as much as they care about the animals.

Went in here because I was bored one day and made an impulse buy of a hamster. He is the cutest thing ever! Staff was extremely helpful the whole time I was there :) I don't regret it at all, will def be coming back to this place for more supplies!

I never noticed the Pets Plus on Roosevelt Boulevard, but after my great experience, I am so glad I did! They have awesome prices, which is good, if you are a poor college student with a pet. I loved the variety of dog toys, also. I finally found something for Scrappy to play with , other than my tennis shoes. All in all, I love the place and you should too.

What a great asset to the Philadelphia, PA community! This place is awesome and I would never consider purchasing any pet products anywhere else! They always have what I need here, and the employees are awesome!

Just visited their brand new website. Pretty Awesome they have some “Made in America” pet food which is really cool. I can’t wait to have my puppy try the “Natural Balance Lamb Meal and Brown Rice Formula.” Sounds so good I almost want to eat it. Can’t go wrong with adding fiber to your (pet’s) diet!

Such a shame... I went to this other place last week (not going to say what store it was) but when I walked into Pets Plus yesterday I was upset...I was upset because I spent too much money at the OTHER PLACE, and I didn't come to Pets Plus first!!! :-( They have the best prices for dog food that I have seen around here. They are even better than Walmart, and Walmart isn't even that expensive! Oh yeah, and their selection is very good...why wouldn't it be for a pet store!!!!! I took a look at their animals, their dogs in particular, and they looked very healthy and lively. This place is "Absolutely NOT disgusting. There ARE NOT "so many boxes everywhere you can't even get to items." The animal care looks good. I don't know what some of you walked into, but I walked into a very good Pets Plus store!

Absolutely love this pet store. It is in a great location for starters and I have had nothing but good experiences every time I'm in there. I have a rabbit and a dog so I come here quite often for supplies. The staff is always helpful too!

Will not except manufacture coupons,manager too busy reading playboy magazine .Would not address issue.

I purchased a puppy from them In Sept. Puppy died from Pavo after a week. PA law states must be reimbursed within 14 days. 63 days later I'm still waiting for reimbursement. Call the store and Corporate Office daily. Get absolutely no where. DO NOT PURCHASE anything from this store. Dogs come from Puppy Mills. Check out the breeder "Amos Zimmerman" of Ephrata in the Dept. of Agriculture's reports. He has anywhere from 500 to 700 dogs on his farm at one time.
