THIEVES!! Our landlord had them work on our roof and gave them access inside our home. 2 months later, my boyfriend has TONS of charges popping up. We went to each pizza/breakfast/Chinese food place and got where it was all being delivered to....MURPHYS ROOFING and all their job sites. They used a different fake name everytime. They ordered it all via the phone or internet. They also ordered $100 in adult movies. Please do not use them. They'll act sweet to your face and rob you behind your back.

Service was completed on schedule and the roof looks great. We appreciate their excellent customer service.

Good business and people. While completing my job the crew was just fine. Worked hard throughout the day, and cleaned up after themselves before they left for the night. The total cost was exactly what was quoted. I would hire them again if I had to do it all over again.

The quote for our roof was within dollars of what we paid when the job was completed. I must say, the roof looks so much better than our old roof. We are very happy with the work Murphy Roofing Co. completed for us.

Murphy roofing replaced my roof in the Powelton Village section of Philadelphia. The roof itself was installed well, with quality materials. However, I was astounded at the cost of extras. For a 700 square foot between 2 levels, modified bitumen (flat) roof, they charged $6200. A single layer of 1/2" plywood cost $2.25/sf, then they added on $200 for a couple of 2x3's and $600 for some sheet metal capping. Grand total $8,600.



When they cleaned up the debris thrown down from the roof 3 stories to the yard & sidewalk, they used leaf blowers. This scattered nails and screws into street, as far away as 80', resulting tire on _my_ car. After finding this, I swept and bagged the leaves from the entire block to prevent others from getting flat tires, and found 7 more nails and a handful of sheet metal screws. Unfortunately the tire was not repairable so after getting wiped out paying for the above, I'm now out for a pair of tires. They refused to make any compensation for this damage. Under other circumstances I would ignore the fact that I didn't have time to wait around for a better deal, but given this, I felt the need to comment.
