They have been my family doctor for a number of years but as of the the last year they are always too busy to see me. The last two times I have been sick the only available times have been a week latter. There response was to go to emergency clinic. What's the point of having a doctor that you cannot see.

Run - do not walk to another dr. practice. This is one of the rudest offices I have ever dealt with. They have no people skills and make you feel as if they (instead of you) are paying their bills. The do not get back to you or do not give you an estimated time that they will get back to you. If you pressure them for a (about) time they simply hang up on you.
If you want to wait around for your appointment time ( I waited two hrs) then go there.
If you want to be insulted and screamed at by the staff -then go there.
If you want to be treated kindly with and efficient staff - run - to another doctors practice.

I switched to Frankford Avenue Family Practice a few years ago. The office is awesome. It is clean and very professional looking. I have seen Dr. Miller and Dr. Franzi and they are extremely thorough and caring. The thing I like best is they always are available to see me when I’m sick even if I walk in without an appointment. They will help me get appointments with specialists that are hard to get in to. They have a patient web portal so I can request refills on my medications and I can see my test results. I have nothing but positive things to say about this office and the doctors. They are much better than my previous doctor who never seemed to be available.

I have been going to Frankford Ave. family Practice for 7 years. The office is fantastic. They always manage to get me right in when I'm sick and the wait in the office is usually very brief. I can always reach the Doctors when the're on call and they are very responsive. I see Dr. Miller and he's a great doctor. he really cares about me and always calls me right away with test results. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Miller.

I have been a patient of Dr. Franzi since I can remember. I have seen other doctors in the practice for sick visits and never once had a complaint. The staff are always polite and helpful and the doctors always take their time with me. I am not there once a week or once a month, sometimes not even once a year. Yet, the staff all know me by name. They also treat my entire family and are always thorough. The practice has been there for us during tragedy and continue to care for each of us. I am getting my husband to go there and my children will all go there.

I feel like the majority of reviewers - this office makes me want to look for another doctor. I've been a patient of Dr. Miller for at least 5 years now. Yes, the staff is rude. They practically ignore you. One time I waited at the desk during check-out to make yet another appointment and the two young ladies continued to speak about "guess who I saw" ... "I went to school with them" .... all nonsense ... while the one continued to munch on a breakfast sandwich. Hello? Dr. Miller has no bedside manner. He barges into the room without knocking, hardly looks at you, stares at his IPad almost the whole time, then up on the table you go ... one minute of pressing here & there, take a deep breath, here's slips to go see 5 other doctors and out you go - I'll see you in 3 months. No thanks!

Also, if you make an appointment for 8:30 a.m. you're lucky to get into the room by 9:15 a.m. then you continue to wait. Fridays seem to be the only semi-good time to go. I sent my sister here ... she went once and never went back.

absolutely horrible

I hate this place especially Dr. Miller. He does not care about his patients at all! Do not go to this doctor. I switched from him last month and am making my mom switch now. He sent her to the ER for simple blood work that should have been done in office. She spent 9 house there. The ER doctor sh laid that she should not have been there. My mom is in a wheelchair and needs special transportation. When she was finally released at 9:30 p.m. last night, she had no ride home. This was not the only incident with them but it is the most recent and the last. We are now going to Dr.Ganzman at Parkwood Medical on Academy road. He is awesome. Actually takes time to listen and help. Love him!

Dr. Wohl has been my doctor for 10 years. I love this doctor, I even followed him from another practice. I have referred several family members and friends to him and they all feel the same way. Be prepared to wait however for he is very thorough with his patients.

My experience with this office...

My experience with this office and Dr. Franzi has been a very positive one over the years...so much so that I continue to retain him as my primary care physician even though I now live about 30 miles away! I have always found Dr. Franzi to listen and not to hesitate to send me to a specialist or for additional testing when necessary. Lab assistants call with results of bloodwork, and the office staff have always been courteous in spite of being busy. If it was not a busy practice, I would worry. I would recommend Doctor Franzi to friends and I am happy knowing that I have one central location and doctor to oversee my healthcare and medical information.

I have been a patient at the o...

I have been a patient at the office for couple of years....maybe 5 or 6. I have never had a MAJOR problem with the office, until this morning. I never really liked my doctor (will not mention name)...the office visits are usually about 2 minutes long and the entire time I feel like I am taking up the doctor's time with useless banter,

I go to the doctor very rarely-it's probably why they don't know/remember me. I have seen the patients who probably have visits at least once a week being treated completely differently from the ones like me-who rarely get sick.

I called in this morning and had an unfortunate experience of speking with an answering machine. You now have to LEAVE A MESSAGE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. You heard me right.

So, I have decided to go a different route and press 1 for an emergency. I am sorry-I know I am not following directions, but I would like to speak to a LIVE PERSON for a change. The lady who came on the phone was so nasty (being aggravated that I called in an emergency line) I explained to her that I am not going to speak to an answering machine.

Bottom line-the customer service is absolutely horrific. They forget that we are human beings and that after all-we are all paing customers. THEY ARE NOT DOING US A FAVOR!!!!!!

I am transferring myself and my husband to a different doctor TODAY.

THANKS FRANKFORD FAMILY PRACTICE!!! IT'S BEEN A FUN RIDE!!!!

This office is a joke!

This office is a complete joke. I've been a patient of Dr. Miller's for years now. He does rush you through every appointment. I called on a Monday due to an illness and wanted to check with the Dr. to see if they could call in an antibiotic. I called back Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I finally spoke to someone on Thursday and they told me I needed to come in to see the doctor. WHy would it take them that long just to tell me I need to see the doc anyway?? It's really insane that they still have a practice. I work for a busy doctors office and if we didn't call a pt back for 3 or 4 days we would be fired. That would never be acceptable. The staff is always rude and always put you on a long hold. That is if they pick up the phone in the first place. Sometimes when I called in the past the phone would ring 20 times and still no answer. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I have to DISAGREE

I've been going there since the mid 90s. My doctor is Paul Miller and I think he is great. He really is thorough and he cares about his patients. I also know that when there are things that need to be taken care of and Dr Miller isn't in the office, the other doctors will call and speak to me or will see me in between their regular patients and I never have a problem getting an appointment when I neeed one. I will and heve recommended this practice before to others.
