I have been a patient here for over twenty years. I love this office. Dr Farber is a wonderful doc. During my twenty years as a patient I have switched from many insurances because of life events, lost job, etc. But that never stopped Dr Farber from treating me. I have psoriasis and a family history of melanoma of which my sister died/ serious conditions that I didn’t want to ignore as I have a disabled son to care for. At one point I didn’t have any insurance at all. Dr Farber was able to get me free biological medication to treat my psoriasis. I am a wimp and I can’t inject Humira to myself (psoriasis medication). Dr Farber met me after hours as I care for my son to inject the medication and didn’t even charge me anything. I want to give you an idea of Dr Farber’s character and what a good human being he is. He works long hours and is amazingly dedicated to his patients. It touched my heart when I found out that three weeks ago Dr Farber’s mom passed away. That same day I was there for my injection and Dr Farber didn’t reschedule my appointment- he still treated me without charge to make sure I was ok before he ran out of the office. He wanted to make sure that my psoriasis wouldn’t flare up.

Not only that- my son lost his leg on a freak accident. Now he is on Medicaid and no other Dermatologist in this area accepts his insurance. Dr Farber’s office was kind enough to accept my son’s United Healthcare community and accommodate my son’s appointment. My son is on a stretcher and every time he goes to the doctors office he gets really embarrassed and sad when people look at him. Dr Farber was kind enough to wait for my son after hours. This meant so much to my son. Dr Farber treated my son like a person - no judgement. He treated him and got his rash better.
Dr Farber is a great doctor and a wonderful person. He really cares about his patients. I am truly grateful for Dr Farber and his staff.

Dr Farber is my hero. My husband has severe psoriasis that affects him physically and mentally. He is a machinist who suffered psoriasis all over his body and hands. His hand would bleed every day after work. He was so self conscious with his appearance that he locked himself away from everyone including me . Dr Farber was able to treat my husband's psoriasis and give him back his life again. One thing Dr Farber did that I will never forget is that he still continued to treat my husband with no cost when my husband lost his job. This is what a good doctor does. He stands by you like Dr Farber did for me and my family. He looks at my husband as a person to help without regard to money or race or gender. He is just a wonderful caring and a good human being.

Dr Farber is truly a gifted doctor. He went out of his way to help me. He really knows his Dermatology. I went to him for pigmentation on the skin. I was ready to pay a couple of thousand dollars to get my face done. He refused to do a cosmetic procedure on my face because he was concerned that I might have a skin cancer on my nose. I agreed to let him remove the spot on my nose. It turned out to be a basal cell skin cancer that Dr Farber treated. I couldn't believe that the other doctor did laser treatments on me multiple times in the past and didn't said anything about the spot. I have my nose because of Dr Farber. He also went on to treat the dark spots at half the cost of the other doctor and with far better results. Who said Dermatologists don't save lives!! Dr Farber saved my life and helped my appearance very efficiently, gently and cost effectively.

This guy vastly oversells his equipment. I wound up paying over $2500 for scar revision with a "state of the art" laser with zero results.. I didn't mind being taken as much as the disappointment the treatment..

I go to the Philadelphia office, I like that I'm not waiting forever to see him. He is very professional and informed with my type of moles which are a lot. I finality found a doctor which seem to
really care about me.

Dr Farber is a great doctor. He took his time to give me the best care and to answer my questions. He was wonderful.

I went to Harold Farber for laser hair removal. And it was a complete scam. For a small area such as 4 inches x 6 inches he charged me $400. Not only that, but he wanted me to come back for 5 more sessions!! That's $2,000! He is way overpriced.

Not only was he trying to scam me with high prices, but his laser did not work at all, no hair came out. I understand it was only the 1st session. So i didn't expect to see lots of hair come out. But I mean, it i did nothing. I can't believe he is still in practice after such crappy work he did on me. I would give him a zero if I could!
