Kevin Kenney & Aspen Chimney claimed my gas fps "were not to code" and therefore he could not repair them and/or inspect them. Went on to say he "wasn't familiar with the mfr" and would do some research. Offered to provide a detailed written report 'later'. Never cleaned our masonry fp-claiming he required special equipment to do so.

Hired another co and everything Aspen claimed was false. Said company repaired the units on the spot AND provided Level 1 cert -whichwas all they said was necessary!

Aspen never provided the detailed written report promised and blamed USPS. When I offered it to be sent via email (which he already had)- surprise - it still has not been rec'd.

Contacted the BBB -he refused to refund our money. Said he "looks forward to going to court". Ding, ding, ding consumer - NO business should "look forward" to that! No business should force the hand of a consumer by refusing to settle a difference without going to court! BIG GIANT RED FLAG - BUYER BEWARE!!!

Fishing company ... be careful!



I have hired them to inspect my chimney. Even though I have a liner, the guy told me that my chimney does not have a liner. He gave me a price out of his head immediately 2000$!!!!!



He grabbed 170$ (225$ was before negotiation) for nothing but just couple of words. Definitely, I did not hire him. I hired another company called chimney scientist 79$ for inspection.



There are much cheaper and reliable companies out there.
