hopefully help you! On last Thursday, the day before my birthday...we went in to the little Wisconsin Vision by our house, to get fitted for new prescription reading glasses as I had lost mine at the hospital when having my total knee replacement. ��. Long and short of it...what was a simple eye test turned into them finding a retinal tear in the back of my left eye. After being sent immediately to a specialist....within 2 hrs, I was having surgical repair! Painful...Oh God yes!! They couldn't put me "out"...but I'm feeling thankful that this was caught! If it hadn't been found, a complete tear would have led to a retinal detachment which could result in blindness in that eye. Devine Intervention??? That's what I'm calling it! If I hadn't lost my good glasses, I never would have gone for an eye test to get new ones! SO...my TIP to all...do something as simple as putting nightly LUBRICATING eye drops (not for red eyes) in your eyes! As we age, the fluids in our eyes thicken and dry causing possible tears in the eye. So simple but could save your eyes!! ���� Shout out to Dr Cindy at WI Vision on Silvernail Rd in Waukesha WI
