Located in Pewaukee, Wis., the Pewaukee Park and Recreation Department was established in 1997 by the Pewaukee Town Board and the Pewaukee Village Board. The department provides recreational program opportunities and maintains city and village parks. It includes several parks, such as David P. Balmer, Thomas V. Nettesheim, south, Springdale and Wagner parks. The department has affiliated many sport organizations, including Pewaukee soccer club, Pewaukee youth baseball, Pewaukee junior pirate football and youth boys and girls basketball program. It also includes village parks, such as lakefront, liberty, opie, peffer, Simmons woods, Valley Forge and village parks. The Pewaukee Park and Recreation Department is a part of the city of Pewaukee.
