You Are Dead Wrong

Tres Hombres is exactly the type of restaurant & atmosphere that Petaluma was in dire need of. I have been to Tres Hombres over 30 times since it first opened. Not only is the food spectacular, but the serivce is second to none. Through my extensive expreience as a customer of Tres Hombres, it seems to me as if everyone is always happy while at Tres...probably has something to do with the relaxing vibe that permeates throughout the restaurant. The awesome margaritas only add to the smiles of everyone that is in Tres Hombres. But for those who don't drink, Tres Hombres is just as enjoyable. I have to say that I was shocked to read the last post that said the chips tasted like plastic....Are you kidding me? My wife & I always sit at the long bar to have a couple of margaritas before we sit down for a meal. While sitting at the bar, my wife & I always chow down on at least one or two baskets of the delicious chips & salsa. We try to limit ourselves on the chip & salsa intake, so that we have room for our delicious meal.

I encourage the last person who posted negatively on Tres Hombres fish tacos to give it another try. These are my favorite items on the menu. Other personal favorites are the Leah & Pablo burritos. My wife usually goes with the specials for the day & has yet to be dissapointed. Tres Hombres is a wonderful new addition to the town of Petaluma. Being a native of Petaluma, it is obvious to me that restaurants such as Tres Hombres are very much welcome & needed additions to the once small dairy town known as Petaluma. Gracias to Tres Hombres for deciding to take a chance in this small town I call home.

A Let Down

I was so excited about this particular restaurant opening in the theater district, but very disappointed by the two times I have been. Although it is one of the nicest large restaurants in Petaluma, the food is simply so-so to not good. The chips smell like burnt plastic and my fish taco tasted like canned tuna with salsa mixed in. The corn tortilla was so dry it split open and was inedible. Bummer!
