Like the pervious reviewer I've used this place a few times with mixed results. This last experience is just that. LAST, accompanied by bad references. The mechanic & mechanical work was fine. No problem there. There prices are outrageous. You can get the same job around the corner or elsewhere for FAR LESS. THEIR MARK UP ON PARTS IS NOTHING SHORT OF GOUGING. I found the part brand new on the internet from multiple sources for $105-110. They charged $260. I understand some "mark-up" but not well over 100%. They had the car for one day. Total bill $1540.00. He said it was a "difficult job". So i have to pay extra for labor thats hard? It took 8 hours max. I'm sure this is a $800.-900 job elsewhere. They detailed out extra $ for parts of the job included in the job. (eg, to work on a carburetor you have to remove the air filter. They charged for removing and replacing the air filter). The mechanics are fine. Pricing and management are out to rip you off. STAY AWAY-GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I had worked with Mytee in Perrysburg a couple of times since 2011, and generally, the service was good and we were well taken care of. However, Something seems to have changed between then and now. This past summer, my wife had taken in her vehicle to get an oil change, was quoted a specific price, and then when she went to pick up the car was told that it would be more than the original quote. Not having been there, I kind of chalked it up to a misunderstanding. However, I took my vehicle there in the summer of 2013 and received the same "deal." Was originally quoted a certain number, so I went ahead and consented to the service, but when I went to pick the care up (yep, you guessed it), the price was substantially higher (we're talking at least $100-$200). Even worse, when I inquired how and why this happened, Jeremy basically said, "Look, I had to make a decision." No apologies, no phone call BEFORE the work was done, clearly no remorse. Jeremy had been pretty good to us in the past, but given this latest incident I refuse to go back there for more classic bait and switch. Look, you don't "just make decisions" with someone else's money. I could have waited 24 hours for my car, and would have appreciated the opportunity to decline the service or get a second opinion. And then to make it seem like I was the unreasonable one! Anyway, Mytee Automotive in Perrysburg, OH has lost some formerly loyal customers, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience. Seriously, a terrible business practice that eliminates any trust between business and customer whatsoever.
