Emergency Response Service is a 24-hour functional program that serves the residents in Peoria, Ill. The program offers crisis intervention, health assessment and referral services for law enforcement units, hospitals and social service agencies. Operational since 1975, it provides assistance with legal rights related to behavioral health, housing and family issues. Emergency Response Service offers supportive counseling techniques for interventions.
