clean, well-stocked. slightly overpriced; but it seems all thrift stores are marking items up....

notice how many S A family stores have closed in the last 5 years? A direct result of hiring the director of retail away from goodwill 5 years ago. hiring away from goodwill is probably the wrong way to put it since they were in the process of firing her for incompetance that was causing them to close stores left and right. she probably would not have been hired by S A but begged then mgr Tim Sullivan for a recomendation. since this transition goodwill is booming and S A has only a handfull of stores left. Debra c has to be the most inept individual they could have hired. no managment skills she runs the stores like an interior decorator with bad taste. having no clue of building and fire codes federal and state employment law sh tries to make her own policies and rules as she see's fit with no oversight she is running the proud name of salvation army right into the ground. I am sure however that she has prepared a nice retirement package for herself, claiming that the remodel of the peoria suncity store cost $350,000 unlikely since most of the labor was done by beneficieries from the arc. I like the southwest commander would like to know what happened to the money. debra C we're not stupid. Everday you show you are not qualified for your position. well I guess thats what happens when you surround yourself with yes men who are afraid to tell you YOU ARE A IDIOT because they know their job depends only on how well they kiss your ---. You are the disgrace of the salvation army.
