Parents enroll their children at Oasis for many reasons: for recreation, for fitness, as an enhancement for early childhood development, for competitive training, as an outlet for extra energy, as a training ground for other athletic endeavors and many others!Oasis prides itself on having developed programs to meet the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of its students. We have Open Gym EVERYDAY! Come join our amazing 18,000 sq ft facility! Featuring 2 huge in ground foam pits, trampolines, bars, beams, rod and spring floors, competitive gymnastics and T&T equipment, separate air-conditioned pre-school room, full dance studio, and tons of viewing! At Oasis Gymnastics we believe that gymnastics is the root of all sports. When taught properly gymnastics can be the vehicle with which to develop life long fitness. Running, jumping, rolling, strength, and flexibility are the basic aspects of many sports. Oasis gymnastics believes that children are the worlds most precious gift. Our goal is to ensure that each child that participates in our program feels as special as they truly are. In summation we believe that we are not solely in the gymnastics business at all, we are in the FUN, PHYSICAL FITNESS, RECREATION, THRILLS, EXCITEMENT, CHILD DEVELOPMENT business. Our Recreational Gymnastics Program is for children age 6 and up. There are many different classes offered at Oasis. A child that is new to our gym will start in Teal 1 or be evaluated if they would like to start in a White or Purple class. Skill Cards are used as an aid in tracking a child's skill development and achievement in each class. Please check with the front desk for rates and availability. PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS PROGRAM: Our Preschool gymnastics program is for children ages walking thru 5 years old. They will have a blast in our separate Preschool room. The Preschool room is air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. It is filled with special gym equipment that is just their size.Gymnastics has many benefits for preschool age children. Besides the obvious skills such as strength, flexibility, coordination and balance, enrolling your child in gymnastics helps with mental focus, social skills and fosters a love of fitness from an early age that could last a lifetime AND its fun! COMPETITIVE TEAMS: Team participation is by evaluation only. We offer competitive gymnastics for Boys and Girls Levels 4-10, Tumble and Trampoline Levels 5-Elite, as well as competitive dance. The Boys, Girls and T&T teams all follow the USAG Junior Olympic Program. TUMBLING & TRAMPOLINE: Kids that love to run, jump and flip will love Tumbling and Trampoline! Oasis offers Tumbling and Trampoline on a recreational level as well as competitive.Beginners will jump and learn all the basics for flipping and twisting. Advanced tumblers will be challenged as well. DANCE: Oasis Gyms Dance Program offers a variety of dance classes as well as a competitive dance team. Classes vary in length from 60-75 minutes. These classes are a combination of Ballet, Tap, Acro and/or Jazz. CHEER: Oasis offers Cheer Tumbling, a back handspring class and is also the practice facility for the Valley Flyers.
