I recently had a sleep study done at Sleep Easy and was very impressed with their professional approach. The building, a house converted for the studies, was very comfortable and the homey atmosphere made the whole experience a relaxed one. Everything was explained thoroughly and in a calm deliberate manner- nothing was hurried or tense. I was supposed to have a sleep study done at my own home by a system sent to me via the mail and I quickly opted out of that one; I couldn't imagine a person being asked to hook themselves up for a sleep study. I later found out, by researching it, just how crummy those self administered studies are. To the contrary Sleep Easy hooked me up from head to toe with monitors for all kinds of things. I think there were about 15-17 channels of information they measured. Of course I did two nights- one to find the degree of my apnea and one to adjust the CPAP machine. When I was done everything was explained and the before and after measurements were explained. Awesome.

I was told I had severe apnea and that I might notice a difference in how much better I felt within a week or so. Well, within two days I felt like a different person. I felt 10-15 years younger ( I am 62), was much more calm with a much greater tolerance for stress. My outlook was much more optimistic, I no longer drag in the afternoon, and my blood pressure, which had just recently gone up, went back down to normal. Amazing.

The sleep study changed my life and the people at Sleep Easy were GREAT!! Before the study I talked to the people at Sleep Easy at length on the phone. Crystal was my contact person and she made me feel like I'd known her for years. She was awesome. She knew her stuff and never got frustrated with all my questions. She put me at ease and was a wealth of information- a true professional. After the study Stan went over the results with me and spent a lot of time explaining what they meant. I did not expect that...and he never got in a hurry either. Wow. The first mask I got didn't work well so....back to Crystal. She found me one that works just fine. I look forward to sleeping now.

In summary>> I have never had a medical procedure that was done as professionally and in such a comfortable manner as this. It didn't even seem like a medical procedure except for the hookups. It's been 6 weeks and I still feel like telling everyone I know about these wonderful people. Take my advice>> call Sleep Easy and talk to Crystal. It's the best thing you can ever do for yourself.
