I did not even have to see this doctor to know that she is rude and unfeeling! My first view of her was while in the waiting room to see a counsellor. An older woman and her adult daughter got up out of their chairs when the dr. called their names, curtley, from her office. When she noticed there were 2 of them, she abruptly asked which woman was the patient. The mother (apparantly speechless) didn't answer and so her daughter exclaimed that her mother was the one scheduled, but that she would like to accompany her so that she could explain the issues going on-as she knows her mother well. The doctor very rudely refused to see the daughter and rushed the mother into her office. The daughter and I looked at eachother, surprised, and I asked if they'd ever seen her before. The woman said "No" and that they probably wouldn't be again. I said that I understand the rules of HIPPA, but there was no reason to be so rude!
This made me worried for my own appointment the next week. I ended up being late-but within the time limit alotted. I was asked by the receptionist to wait upstairs for the dr. to come out and call me. After some time sitting next to the dr.'s door, the kind receptionist emerged from the elevator and told me that the doctor would not see me because I was late and she did not feel she had the time to evaluate me. She also said that I would have to pay the $75 fee for missed appointments. I was upset because I really needed to see a psychiatrist as soon as possible-literally, my family life depended on it. After telling the receptionist my delicate situation, she felt bad and decided to call the dr. and ask if she would please see me. After a quick conversation, the receptionist called me to the desk and (in her exact words) said: "The doctor refuses to see you and will not wave the $75 fee. Also, she said that if you are late for your next appointment she will have to refer you to someone else." I was shocked by the coldness of this doctor and when the receptionist, apologizing, asked if I'd like to re-schedule I said that I'd already seen enough of the rudeness of this doctor and that I would find someone else. I proceeded to then walk out.
I would not recommend this woman to anyone. Maybe others have had different experiences with her, but the two times I have seen/dealt with her, she has been extremely rude and unfeeling. How is that any way to treat potentially mentally ill patients? I am not sure how she remains in practice treating people this way and I truly hope, for the sake of others, that I am wrong about this doctor. Meanwhile, I will be seeing another psychiatrist and hope to have much better luck!

Help me during a difficult time on my life. Able to understands my needs. I do understand that she has 15 min per pt but she utilized that time with me without making me feel rushed. I do recommend her!

I know Dr. Bobet for a long time and she is a straight shooter. If you are drug seeking don't waste your time because she is not a pill doctor. She is always on time with me, she cannot afford to be late because she has 15min med checks, if you want more time go to a psychologist which cannot prescribed you. I am writing this review in response to the appalling treatment I was given, and find it in her future patients' best interest that they have the information available to decide whether she should treat them or not.

Dr. Bobet is inconveniently and consistently late, while expecting her patients to be exactly on time. She lacks sympathy and the ability to diagnose medical conditions: she will chat on her instant message while you explain what ails you, instead of giving her patients the appro...

I have been with mood swings for years and never after seeing a dozen of doctors was explained about my condition until I saw Dr. Bobet, she not only explained to me, she also gave me the right medication and I'm doing much better. After reading some off the reviews, I was concerned but she explained to me that she is faculty at FSU and always have some medstudents shadow her during some patients. I will absolutely recommend her!

I found Dr. Bobet to be knowledgeable but completely lacking in empathy. I felt like a lab rat being weighed and stared at by an unidentified student that was using my private information for her studies. The positioning of the client chair in the corner feels especially odd and demeaning. I dread going there and feel worse when I leave.

I went to see her got an appointment the day prior. Have see other psychiatrist in the past, she took time to explained my diagnosis and my treatment. One of her med students did a diagnostic scale as well. I recommend her without a doubt! Thanks a lot Dr. Bobet!

I found sitting in a corner chair BEHIND my caregiver unprofessional and demeaning. Also in the room was an unintroduced observer. My opinion of her is she is brusque and rude.
