My experience with Greg Leck and Cathy Leck has been life altering. From seeking help for 13-year-old border collie w/ one hip since year of age, w/ pain front leg, unable to apply pressure; examined unconscious; sent home w/o immediate pain relief; required ER over week-end, to false reports, 4 days in jail... courts, lawyers and loss.

I called Leck Veterinary Hospital three times beginning 9am first business day. Having worked w/ clients over 25 years, it was unexpected to be sent on a runaround after notifying necessity for ER over week-end where pain management initiated. Request copy of x-ray, informed x-rays do not include below elbow which was the initial complaint, "Unable to apply pressure, would not let me touch lower leg or paw."

Dr. Leck demands that I replace payment in full or will sue, said w/o expert witness will lose – that he is an expert witness.

After prior experience with a different dog years earlier, having spent several thousands of dollars "new" treatment elsewhere, *recalled months earlier, subsequent consult university hospital; informed misdiagnosed, need to begin again left sense having been before...

Leck Veterinary immediately forwards my name, private phone numbers, and email to a private label supplement sales partner. Next morning email from this partner, followed by sales call on Monday.

What began as seeking medical care for an old dog in pain takes on life of its own.

Dr. Greg Leck files a civil claim w/error, followed w/ police report – officer advises it is civil and will notify Dr. Leck. I will not hear from police again, he said.

What I didn't know is that Greg Leck ignored the officer's determination, filed private CRIMINAL complaint after somehow discovering individual with different birthdate, different year, different middle name, ~two hours away w/o driver's ID.

My correct driver's license ID is only license listed on same private criminal complaint, yet Greg Leck finds a way to include credit report, wrong individual.

Because a credit report is only available through subpoena, law enforcement, credit agency.. it unclear how he was able to do this.

Based on wrong individual, complaint includes criminal background regarding financial matters, or perhaps incorrect altogether. False statements coincide w/ wrong individual w/ diff. middle name, diff. birthdate, diff. address 2 hours away, no driver's ID, allegedly used (3) social sec. numbers to open illegal bank accounts + more.

I have no criminal anything, (1) soc. sec. number, valid driver's ID, appears on criminal complaint next to credit report wrong person. Not only has my car never repossessed, nor in danger as Dr. Leck reported, the phone is same company he reports as written off due to non-payment.

In disbelief I listen as Dr. Leck and Cathy Leck provide false testimony under oath based on wrong individual's credit history. Each false statement worse than the last. Having studied Geology, I am familiar with the permeability and porosity of minerals, rocks and organic matter, and in regard to certain post, having studied Ornithology, also familiar with gender specific traits.

Apparently not enough that my dogs are left without food, water or heat awaiting alternate care while I am held in solitary confinement 4 days, Dr. Leck calls emergency doctor, slanders my name, demands information on dental record.

Upon release from prison, I find dogs in utter disarray, holes chewed from one room to another attempting to get water from 18-yr-old aquatic turtle's tank; one further injured, another so traumatized that closing a door incites head banging to open. She died months later, five days before the youngest died, and three months after the dog I brought to Leck Veterinary died.
-------------------------------------------------------
May these faithful and loyal companions someday be remembered for the good times, rather than how their lives came to such an abrupt and painful end.

I was a next door neighbor to the Leck Veterinary Hospital when they literally ran into me with their moving truck late at night. What a meeting, right? Well Kathy Leck called the police, and did everything in her power to set the hood of my car right! She took care of everything! I paid nothing.

Later on in their first summer (July 2012), my 15-year-old Irish Setter had, what appeared to be, a stroke. It was a weekend and I just happened to catch Kathy and the vet in the office. I brought my dog in expecting the worse; I even said my good-byes to her.

Apparently, the vet was so knowledgeable, he knew she had some inner ear infection, even though at a glance there was no infection. It was a DEEP rare neurological/ infection affecting her equilibrium, continence, and eyesight. I know if I had taken her any where else, I would have been encouraged to put her down.

After a two week course of medicine, I got to enjoy another 8 months of my dog in which I said good-bye to her gracefully and with dignity. She has since passed away and Leck Veterinary in Pen Argyl (right on route 512 / center of town in the old Slate Belt printing building) helped me with the cremation and the entire office sent me a condolence card.

I cannot praise this practice enough. The pricing was as expected for such a fine new office with state of the art care. In my opinion, certainly cheaper than Bartonsville Animal Hospital, and the other local vets may not have been as well studied as Dr. Leck to know animals rarely get strokes and that my elderly (but spry) dog had a few more *good* months left - of which I will eternally be grateful.

If I get another pet again, there will only be one place I would consider for its care. leck Veterinary Hospital.

Thanks everyone!
