WebsiteDr. Delia J. Ochoa-Garcia is originally from Miami, Florida. She completed her Internal Medicine training at Michigan State University-College of Osteopathic Medicine and then went on to fulfill a special interest in Geriatric Medicine and was accepted into the prestigious fellowship program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Her primary focus was Outpatient Clinical Geriatrics, but she also completed research in Inpatient Geriatric Medicine. The outcome data has now generated further interest and research, and is being implemented at the inpatient level locally.
She has since returned to South Florida, where her clinical mentoring and teaching of medical students from Nova SECOM earned her the position of Clinical Associate Professorship from 2002-2005. In October 2006, she had the honor of being inducted as a Fellow into the American College of Osteopathic Internists. She is currently practicing at Chen Medical Associates, serving both general internal and geriatric patients.
