We were excited about bringing our baby to CCS when hearing about their curriculum. However, the Pelham location has issues. Poor management, too much turnover (in infant area), poor communication, and sanitary issues. Please be aware this was over our 7 month time with them. The assistant Director does not need to be in the position she is in. The 'teachers' in Infant 2 are older and set in their ways, with a mentality of I'm older than you, I know better. They fought us with the schedule we wanted our daughter on, and had extremely poor communication with us. Anytime we brought up something with them, no one seemed to know about it in their class, which was disturbing. When she first moved up to Infant 2, they were trying to force her to eat every 2 to 2 1/2 hours, which was causing her to not finish bottles, and spitting up. Then when we said please don't over feed her, the teacher only gave her 2 bottles over the 10 hour day the next day. Anyone who could make a baby starve and cry for that long forcing them to wait to eat is a vindictive person in my book, and very alarming knowing they are taking care of infants. In the 7 month time we were there, there was an 'Hand foot and mouth disease' epidemic that broke out in Infant 3 (luckily it did not affect our daughter), then when our daughter contracted the Sapovirus in Infant 2 because they were bringing Infant 3 babies in to Infant 2 when short handed. Also in Infant 2, our daughter kept coming home with diaper rashes 4 out of the 5 days she was there. After speaking with the teachers about why it was happening, no one seemed to know anything about rashes, which was also disturbing. When the assistant director tried to blame us for not writing on her daily sheets to watch for diaper rashes, we decided enough was enough, and pulled her. Very disappointing after we had read so much about how they were Christian based, and the curriculum they had.

As both a parent and a staff member I love this school and daycare! It is Christ centered, clean, friendly, and a step above the rest.

I am so thankful for the teachers and staff at this school! I have two kids that attend CCS and they are well ahead of the curve in their academic development. Better than that, they learn each day about the Word of God and Biblical character. I highly recommend CCS to any parent looking for a structured environment with a Christian focus.
