I have been using J&J Auto ever since James helped my wife install her car battery (purchased elsewhere) free of charge a few years ago. They do great work and are priced fairly. The work is done in a timely manner and always try to find the least expensive option for any major repairs. I live in West Nyack and there are a lot of car mechanics around, but J & J has my business.

Whatever you do, do not use this repair shop! Unscrupulous, shoddy workmanship, untrustworthy. I brought my car in for a NY State inspection. My car was meticulously cared for, ran great. It passed, but they told me that I needed 2 motor mounts. Then 2 more mounts, then a transmission! They ruined my car, never apologized. The car shook and shimmied, runs terrible. I will sell the car now, don't trust it. The day I went to pick it up, it wouldn't start! They left the key in the on position for 2 days, ran down the battery and NO GAS! Now wouldn't you think after all they did to me, the inconveniences, damaging my car, etc, the very least they would of done is made sure the car had GAS in it. Shows you how the customer they value so little.
