I have taken my basset hounds to Poodles N Pals for years and have nothing but good things to say about their services. The owners have bent-over-backwards to accomodate my sometimes peculiar work schedule, and my dogs always come home clean, happy and well-groomed. My dogs are show dogs so I am very particular about the way they are kept. When I can't groom them myself, I take them to Poodles N Pals. Several times I've gone to pick up a dog and rather than be crated, he is walking around the shop socializing and enjoying exploring new things.

I would like to give this place no stars. I made an appointment at 930 and they gave me a lower price than most places. Now I know why. I told them I had a 55 lb boxer. No surprise that he is energetic. He is not aggressive towards other dogs just gets excited to see them. Little did I know this 200 sq ft storage space has 10 kennels all filled with dogs. If you don't take big energetic breeds just SAY SO. She took off his collar and expected me to chase him down while he is still looking at every dog. How would I grab my huge dog with not even a collar on?! Her yelling at my dog was not helpful in any sort. Will stick to day of the dog in Salem since they loved him. If you have a 4 lb dog feel free to come here! Apparently they can babysit for hours.

Not only is poodles and pals completely unprofessional they absolutely butchered my dog. I sent my dog there for a trim and it came back looking like a skinhead. They made me pay cash ahead of time before I even saw my dog. My dog had shave marks from the razor they used down her back. My adorable shaggy dog came back to me so ugly that i was embarrassed to walk her. I highly recommend that one does not go to poodles and pals. Had they apologized to me for my experience I would had given them a second chance but they had acted like the could have cared less. Don't go!
