About Pawtucket Foundation The Pawtucket Foundation was organized by representatives of local corporations and institutions to apply civic entrepreneurship to the economic transformation of the Pawtucket /Central Falls community, focusing on planning for tidewater redevelopment ; for regional gateways via an MBTA commuter rail connection ; and for downtown reinvestment. The Pawtucket Foundation represents the private business and not-for-profit sector in advocating for downtown, riverfront, and gateway improvements within Pawtucket. As a group of civic entrepreneurs, the Foundation works to maintain a vision of the community's future and to help assemble the information, talent, and resources to realize this vision.
