My refi was finaled...I received a great rate. I’m thankful for that!



If I could turn back time, I’d return to Spinnaker and let them compete for business. The only thing I’d do differently is make sure I used one or two other brokers to keep everything honest.



I was disappointed with the following: I had several unreturned calls, broken commitments on incoming calls and/or emails from my broker, and less than optimum care. It seemed that when a couple opportunities arose to do a little extra for my benefit, the broker was reluctant to do the work. Thankfully, I had another broker working on the loan, rather late in the game, that gave me the leverage to get the best deal on my loan. In other words, if this 2nd broker wasn’t in the mix, I’d surely have received a higher rate from Spinnaker...and they’d received better compensation for less service.



Anyhow, like I said, I’d go back again...but I’d make sure I had a couple other brokers in the line up from the very start.
