I give this business a "0"... It probably have been a little higher, if they hadn't let go of the most caring, compassionate person in there office... All to cover for her (Natalia's) own mistakes... Finding out that she is the owner, blew me away... Natalia did nothing but confuse misquote, misinform, be rude to us (customers, hurting for losing their loved one), her staff, a church helping with our services... see Yelp for more information... i do not recommend this business to anyone.

Avalon Pasadena Funeral Home and Creamation is Second to none in the Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley Areas... Their service was super personal, and no attention to detail was spared during our time of need... When the secratary answered the phone, she answer by saying "service from our family to your family", which is exactly what our experience was... Avalon Pasadena Funeral Home really treated my family like it was theirs, and I can't be grateful enough...



I highly recommend this funeral home over any other in the city of Pasadena... Unlike some of the others I checked out, Avalon really treated me like I was a friend, and not just like another customer.... I am forever grateful, and so will my Uncle...

I am so pleased with the care and the compasion that was shown to us during the arrangement process and funeral services for my grandmother. I am impressed with the level of empathy that was shown to my parents, specially my mother. The beautiful ladies at Avalon have become more than funeral directors to us, they are part of the family. We were also invited to a prayer group the funeral home hosts every friday to pray for my grandmother with other families who have suffered a loss. The experience was very healing.

Sharing and praying with other families was definetaly healing.

My father was dying and hospice prompted me to find a funeral home. I called funeral home after funeral home but something was missing. I called Avalon at around 1:00am asking for prices and etc. Natalie answered my call and immediately offered her sympathy to me and my mother and wanted to know how we were doing. She patiently explained all the different options we had and answered all our questions with so much care and compassion. In person, she was even more wonderful. We were very impressed with their level of care and compassion while delivering top notch service. Highly recommended.
