I love my car. McGary's Auto Repair takes good care of it and gives me great service.

McGarry's Auto Repair inspected a used car for me before I bought it. They were incredibly thorough with the whole thing. It's not a surprise, though, they always do a great job there.

McGarry's came highly recommended to me and they didn't disappoint. They gave me excellent service that was fast and friendly.

I agree with the last review. The convenience of being close to the train is perfect! I dropped my car off for service and jumped on the train to head to work downtown. When I got back from work, my car was ready to go. The price was what was quoted and the service people explained everything to me before I left. I normally do not take the time to write reviews. In this case, I was so satisfied with the service received, I had to put this out there for others to see. A shining gem in the Park Ridge community.

I was reading the post below and had to write a review. First of all, Larry does not work at McGarry's anymore. The owner, Mike, is running the front and is so kind and knowledgeable. He took so much time explaining the problems with my car to me and repairs were done well. My car runs great now and I left feeling confident that I was getting the best service. I was able to leave my car and get right on the train in Park Ridge. When I got off the train that night, my car was done and waiting for me! I feel like the prices were in line with other places I have gone. They are not a Jiffy-Lube or some other chain, but the service and waranteed parts make me feel confident in my decision to take my car there. Highly recommend!

Called asking if I could bring an alternator in to be repaired rebuilt. Single word response from "Larry": "No." Then I asked if he knew of any place that could help me. Again, one word: "No," followed by silence. The Autozone 2 miles away were friendly when I called, helped me immediately, and had a rebuild kit in stock. Apparently supporting my local business was a bad idea?
