My two kids (Mason and Sara)go to marion elementry an intermediate and have nothing but good things to say about ms. Jodi Ferguson. Thank you for producing such good qualities in a subitute teacher. it leads me to beleive that all your subs. are this way. Its refresing to see this when all the full time teachers teach is the bench mark. thanks again Brian

I love Subteach!!! They are very professional and really do care about their employees. Substitutes are hard to come by because the pay isn't that great but like every job you have to perform your best. You are the one that has decided to take the job. It is not Subteaches job to request for your pay to be increased that is left up to the school district. They are very understanding and don't get discouraged if there aren't any job postings on the website. Chances are they will call you very very frequently. I love my job and I LOVE working with the children!

I work for SubTeach, USA as a substitute. I do know subs have said that anyone who greets you in the main lobby on Court Street in Paragould, AR is curt, rude, or at the least perfunctory. I have experienced this as well. I just keep smiling. BUT, the staffing crew is the GREATEST in the world. I have worked in the public for over 30 years and can honestly say the flaws in any substitute are addressed if reported. Just as it is with hiring a teacher, you only know the credentials, not the disposition of the worker until you get a complaint. SubTeach, USA is open to complaints and they do take them serious. I know the drill because I have had 3 complaints from schools and they were immediately addressed--with alternatives. Like the sub who used a teacher's computer, I was wrong, and I appreciated the chance to make things right. I found out that using the school computers is against the rules although I had seen many subs doing it. I should have read my manual. SubTeach is great.

First of all, my substitute didn't show up on Thursday, November 4, 2010. A sub finally showed up about 10 minutes before 3rd period. That sub took my gradebook, student work that was to be worked on again on Friday, to the office. That sub didn't come back on Friday, so I had another sub who didn't have anything for students to do because of the first sub's incompetence, so she let students go into a keyboard lab and get on computers so they could access their Facebook accounts, use their cell phones and mp3 players which is totally against school rules. She told them they could do anything they wanted as long as they were quiet. Then she asked one of my students to turn on my computer so she could work on her job application. She had no right to access my computer for her personal business. She was supposed to be there as a substitute TEACHER!

I worked in their office for THREE WEEKS and quit. They don't appreciate their employees and treat you as though you aren't the least bit important. If you make a mistake they treat you as though you committed an unpardonable sin. I have never EVER been so stressed in a job in my LIFE (over 20 years of working). DO NOT work for them...you will be sorry.
