Do not recommend for tooth extractions unless you are sent to an oral surgeon. Literally left a gaping tear from my gum to my sinus. Infection spread to my home and sinus. Had to have 2 types of IV antibiotics at an ER. Tons of pain. Do not allow this doc to pull your teeth!!!!!!

Dr. Nestlerode has been my family's doctor for as long as I can remember. The girls in the office are nice. The doctor has always been nice too. The building is kind of old looking but there are TVs and stuff inside the rooms so it's got new stuff too. Usually just have cleanings done, but fillings last time went ok.

I had a horrible toothache going into the holiday and I had to find someone who could get me in fast. One of my coworkers said she'd been seeing Dr. Nestlerode for a couple of years, and suggested I call his office. I'm so glad I did. The tooth needed a root canal, and it would have gotten worse over the long weekend. Dr. Nestlerode was very gentle and the procedure only took about an hour. I have to go back later to get a crown done, but I can't say thank you enough to the doctor and his staff for getting me in so quickly and getting me out of pain. You guys seriously saved my Thanksgiving.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Nestlerode and his staff and I really felt like I needed to share it. My friend has been seeing him for several years and she kept telling me how great her dentist is, so I decided to check him out for myself.



For starters, the office staff was fantastic. The lady who answered the phone answered about a million questions, and didn't miss a beat. She got me in right away, and even contacted my insurance company for me to make sure I had coverage. I have one of those self-pay plans, so it's difficult to find a provider who will take it.



I was very impressed with the way the office looks. The staff obviously takes pride in keeping it well, and the doctor has invested in some frills, like TV sets in the treatment rooms. Dr. Nestlerode was very personable, and he took the time to go over all my options with me. I wanted a smile makeover, but I'm on a bit of a budget, so I wasn't sure it would work. Anyway, they showed me several options, and I even got to see pictures of some of his patients that had undergone the various treatments.



Ultimately, I settled on veneers, and I am very pleased with the results. Honestly, they change my whole appearance. Originally, my teeth had very dark stains from tea and I had a few very old mismatched fillings. One of them had even started leaking underneath it, and I had a cavity that I didn't even know about! I also had a large chip on my front tooth, and I was really afraid a veneer wouldn't cut it.



I'll admit that I spent a fair amount of time in the chair. I'm not really sure how much, but I finished an entire movie and then some. However, now that I have my veneers on, I can see that it was well worth the extra time. They are absolutely beautiful, and they brighten my whole face. One of my friends actually asked if I'd had some kind of cosmetic surgery because my face looked so different just from fixing my front teeth.



I'm so glad I had Dr. Nestlerode do the work for me. He did a fabulous job, and his entire staff has been wonderful. Thank you so much for the beautiful makeover!

The doctor and his staff were good to me. I came in because I needed a crown and he had the best price, but he's really gentle and the tooth looks like it's a normal tooth.

I wanted to have veneers done in time for my sister's wedding and planned to have them done somewhere else. Both of my front teeth had huge chips that had been there for years. I had an issue with the other office, and Dr. Nestlerode's staff worked me in. I was a little worried that the time concerns would be an issue, but my veneers are absolutely perfect. Everyone at the wedding complemented me and they could tell something was different, but not what it was. I am so glad I had my cosmetic work done here, and I plan to have all my records transferred so I can stay.

I really can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Nestlerode and his staff. My experience with them was really unique, because I found him by accident. I had a really bad toothache and scheduled an appointment with another dentist in his plaza. I accidentally went into his office instead, but the secretary was nice and gave me directions to the person I was scheduled with. She joked that I could stay if I wanted to, but I went to the place I was scheduled at. That dentist told me I could spend about $2000 for a root canal and crown, but I couldn’t afford it. They wouldn’t take payments or anything. I thought I was going to have to have it pulled, but I decided to go back to Dr. Nestlerode’s office and ask if they could help. His price was about half of what I would have paid at the other office. Because of him and his wonderful staff, my tooth was saved. I just got the permanent crown on and couldn’t be happier.

This was my first visit to Paradise Valley Dental and I would recommend them to anyone. The staff was super friendly and Dr. Nestlerode made me feel very comfortable while having my procedure done. from the numbing shots that i barely felt to the following day it was probably one of the most pain free and pleasant experiences i have ever had at a dentist. And on top of all of that, they were about 30% cheaper than the other places i had called. Very excited to have found this awesome place and proud to spread the news. I give them 5 stars because they deserve it.

I was recommended from a friend to try out Dr. Nestlerode and I'm extremely happy I did. I've had a number of dentists in the past and I can honestly say that not only is his work terrific, he is a genuinely caring guy. He didn't try to sell me on anything, which is what I'm used to from other dentists, and he is very down to earth and friendly. I'm always reluctant toward dentists but I'm happy I found this one. Great dentist, friendly and professional staff, and great guy! Thank you so much.

Dr. Nestlerode is great! He did my cosmetic dentistry (smile makeover) for a third the cost I was quoted by another Scottsdale office. Televisions in the ceiling made the treatment go by very quickly. It was so cool watching movies while he worked on my teeth. At first I was using Laughing Gas for my anxiety, but realized after a few visits that I didn’t really need it. He gives such good injections that I do not even feel them.

Staff is so pleasant and caring, the office had a small town feel. People are always telling me how pretty my teeth are. Highly recommend the office for cosmetic dentistry and your family’s needs. My entire family now goes to the office

My wife and kids have been seeing Dr. Nestlerode for about four years, but I never made it in until weeks ago when I broke a back tooth. I was really surprised that they worked me in so quickly, since I wasn’t already a patient. The tooth needed a crown, and it was done to my satisfaction.

He worked WITHOUT a dental assistant, so I was responsible for holding the suction tool. This Guy should not hold a license, he is a butcher! My crown he fixed has a hole in the middle of it so you can see the metal inside. The office was a mess when I first went in that was the fist red flag, The place looked unclean & unsanitary it made me worry about infection! He really needs to be checked out by the authorities!!! Then his equipment looks like something from the 1920, He's unprofessional & uncomfortable! Then the price was higher than what I was quoted Right in the middle of him working on my tooth as his secretary came with a hand full of papers trying to have sing. This is The Absolute Worst Nightmare of a practice I have ever seen! Ever!!! I should have followed my gut and left after walking in, but I was in Pain.
