While Dr. Baker is a competent and experienced dentist, his hygienist, Michelle, I believe is her name, leaves much to be desired. She recently joined his practice. She hardly scaled around my teeth, and although she had a tray full of instruments, she used just one. It looked like a pointy hook. She did under my gums around all my back teeth with it, was very superficial with the polish, and barely rinsed out my mouth. I felt very disrespected! I am/was a cash patient, so parting with $100 for a dental cleaning is painful. I had been looking forward to this appointment because I would always get good treatment from Jeannie--but she isn't there anymore. She was always careful to do a good job. The other hygienist there is also rude and uppity, so I refuse to see her. Michelle also did my husband and was just as superficial and quick with him.

It was as if they wanted us to leave the practice.

I had been wanting to have my husbands' cosmetic work done there, cash, mind you, which was going to cost us $4k cash. I found someone else who is very talented in the area of cosmetic dentistry, and will take my husband there, instead.
