Wash guy told me they no longer wash the car rims. So I get a car that is 80% washed with filthy rims. Been going there for years, will give them one last chance. This is nuts

DON'T DO IT

In an effort to help local business we continued to go back to this carwash for quite a while, but we can't do it any more. Again today they sent my vehicle through with the back window down. This is the second time this has happened, last time with the window on the other side. After the first time I make it a point to ensure the windows are up (not that I would be driving around Palm Springs in 100+ degree heat with the windows down to begin with) and I lock the windows with the controls on the driver's side. They won't refund your money but they will give you a free wash ticket if you want to come back and try it again. The owner's son in an attempt to help says he'll call his dad and will have someone get back to me but he'll only do this if I give him the free wash ticket back to him... what's that about? The water isn't what I'm worried about, it's the soap and wax that flooded the inside I have a problem with. If you need the inside cleaned and you don't care how it's done then maybe this carwash is for you.

I appologize for not responding to the review, but I just noticed it today (because we don't have a website, I never looked for reviews online)! Our only guess to the problem of the window being down is that maybe the window regulator is weak and that the window may fall when the door is shut. We wash 1,000's of cars each year and I can't remember the last time we've had a window down after going through the wash. We wash the cars by hand and only a cloth curtain touches the car while going through the wash. The only solution I can offer is to place duct tape over the top of the window and door frame before the car goes through the wash, to prevent it from falling. We do that for cars that have leaking window seals or if the window is stuck open partially. I appologize for the wet interior, but I can assure you that is a very rare occurance!
