WebsiteSTV Audio Video was founded by its current owner, Jim Tucker, way back in 1976. If you remember those days, we fine-tuned our TV’s by using rooftop antennas. And if the antenna wasn’t twisted in just the right direction, we would get “ghosting”, fuzziness or “snow”.But because Jim is an early adopter of advanced technology, he wanted STV to be a pioneer in home TV products. So, in 1979 he began introducing the “new” satellite TV antennas to his customers. Of course, those required a big setup area because they were originally giant, 12-foot diameter satellite dishes!
