Right now, I'm giving it 4 thumbs up, simply because I've just recently started attending. I am desperately trying to find a Church home where GOD is exalted and not "man". This past Sunday was my first time to attend (July 18, 2010). Bro. Ric Freeman read Isaiah 6:1-8. How my heart leaped for joy that here was a man preaching on the holiness of God and the undoneness of man. I then attended the mid-week Bible Study. We've always heard that you can tell a whole lot about what a Church is like in those meetings--and I was again NOT DISAPPOINTED. Our teacher, Jason, presented a good lesson out of 2 Samuel 6:1-23. He said that many times we all have "good intentions" in what we think God is pleased with in serving Him, but if it's not done in the way He has commanded and shown us, then He indeed is NOT pleased. I am very hopeful and encouraged that I may have indeed found a place and a people whose desire is to serve the Living GOD. Souls are at stake--too important to take lightly.
