The citrus stores at the exits as you leave Florida are well marked and I foolishly bought a bag each of grapefruit and oranges when leaving FL. Very disappointing to see the rotten ones when I took them out of the bags. Even the edible ones are nothing like the samples offered in the store. Don't they monitor the contents to ensure they're not cheating the customers? I learned my lesson!

Wish I had read this review before stopping here. We bought three bags of the honey-sweets and over half were rotten. Bad customer service too. Had to buy the prepackaged bags even though there was a bin of fruit there. I wanted to buy by the pound and pick my own. No Way! duh...why were bags hanging there???? Not again.

Just purchased 1/2 bushel of grapefruit. They were dried up and seeds were sprouting. Attempting to get a refund. Will not purchase from them again if I cannot get my money back!

Enroute to NC from Florida, I purchased two 1/4 bushel of oranges. About 1/2 of each bag was bad and had to be thrown away after 2 days. Not too good!

On the way back from Florida to NC we stopped by one of their stores and bought 1/2 a bushel packed in a bag. When we opened the bag few were rotten. More then that the taste was not close to what we ate at the store. Very bad experience. After 4 day at home most of the oranges got cover by mold.Never buy them again. They didn't respond to an email I sent them.

Bought HoneyBell Oranges and arrived home 7 hours later. Only 4 out of 1/4 bushel were good. All the rest had started to rotten. Will not ever buy fruit here and will not recommend.

I ordered several packages for relatives for Christmas. When the fruit arrived, it was beautiful and delicious! They took extra care of the fruit to assure that it did not freeze since it was going to the north where it was snowing. All of my relatives where very happy to receive such wonderful fruit from Florida. I will definitely be using this company again!!!

Just returned from a trip to Florida and stopped at your store to get some oranges and tangerines. The oranges have almost no juice and the tangerines are tasteless. It was a waste of money and I will never shop on roadside again for "fresh" Florida friut.

We sent four relatives shipments from Jennings Fruit for Christmas 2010. When one of the relatives visited Florida for the month of April, we found out that their fruit was of such poor quality, they had to throw it all away. They did not contact the shipper nor did they tell us, as they did not want us to know that our gift was not edible. When we heard this, we called all the relatives and their fruit was o.k. just this one shipment was bad. They had received fruit from us from this company last year and it was good. When we contacted Jennings, the manager Jean called my relative and was very snippy and rude. She said she could not belive that they would wait all this time to complain. She said they have a 3 day window for complaints. My relative was upset by the lack of good customer service and we will not be sending from Jennings in the future.

I visited the store on my way home from Florida last year. I had bought some tangerines that were absolutely fantastic. I decided I would try to order some online. I encountered a problem with the computer telling me my order had not gone through....to check with the company to make sure everything was okay. I recieived very good service and personal attention and found out everything was fine with my order. The lady in the office answered all my questions and my fruit arrived and was excellent. I am back to buy more. Love this place.

DON'T ORDER BY MAIL OR INTERNET!!! I placed an internet order for 8 friends, family and self. My order contained all small fruit and amounted to 2/3 of a bushel rather than a full bushel that I paid for and stated on my receipt. 5 pounds of packing paper and cardboard trays. I assume my 7 friends and family were short changed as well but since they were gifts they would not know what I purchased. Jennings response was that they will be removing all mention of quantity weight and volume(bushel) from internet and brochure listing so no one can check what they send you! Just order by the tray and you get whatever amount they decide to put in the tray!! I filed a compliant with the Florida State Division of Weights and Measures. They are investigating. Plus, they are just a shipper and don't grow there own fruit.
