Went in July of last year to receive antibiotics for a UTI. Apparently the doctor had chlamidya testing done without my consent i'm STILL attempting to get this bill resolved almost a year later with this office. I have sent multiple letters of dispute and called numerous times. The staff has been exceptionally rude and I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I've been to the Oviedo Centra Care many times and always had a pleasant expirience. I always make an appointment and they are on time with their appointments, staff is courteous, rooms are clean, and the doctors are knowledgeable. My appointment was at 8:30am and I was seen and out by 8:55am. Not all Centra Cares are created equally -- this one is above and beyond!

Wait time very unreasonable with no apology. I don't need to hear excuses about the physician being backed up...how is that..you know he is the only one so schedule accordingly .He is not PAYING FOR MY WASTED TIME. Though forget or not show up and they will bill you..I believe that they over schedule and MONEY is the reason..I recommend take advantage of Obama care and go to hosp. ER. At least you may get a bed otherwise try a different centra care

I visited this Centra Care because my eye was very swollen, pink tinted, very uncomfortable feeling and crusty in the morning. I had an eye exam at this location. Dye was put in my eye and a special light was used to scan for foreign objects. I was diagnosed with conjunctivitis (pink eye), not a foreign object, not allergies. I was prescribed a bottle of eye drops. The exam and the drops cost close to $200.

It was a pretty severe case and after using the drops for two weeks the eye drops are clearly diminishing the severity of the problem, but they're not entirely healing my eye. I'm still waking up with a little crust, my eye is still swollen and at times has a pink-ish hue. I was told at the time of my first appointment that the strength of the prescription drops I was being given may not fully resolve my problem, but not to worry, they can prescribe stronger drops.

I called back two weeks later and was told that the doctor I saw the day of my visit would be in the following day and to call back then and he'd give me the stronger prescription without charging me another $160 for an office visit. I did as instructed and was told that I did indeed need to come back into the office for another exam. I was shocked. This whole time I've been told that these drops may not be strong enough, don't worry if they're not we'll give you the stronger drops, but we want to start off with these because of drug resistance, we won't charge you for another expensive eye exam.

I feel lied to and frankly, not cared for at all. I feel like the Centra Care is clearly more interested in being paid as much as they can and not actually caring about the patient. I'm willing to take time out of my workday to go back to be re-checked, I'm even willing to pay a reduced follow-up office visit, but to pay full-price twice because they were unwilling to give me the prescription they were pretty sure I needed in the first place... I feel very taken advantage of and the worst part is after $200 and two weeks worth of treatment, I'm not healed. My eye is still infected and now I have to start from square one to find someone to treat it.

Thanks Centra Care for wasting my time and money. Eyes are indeed delicate things and should be taken care of properly, I entirely agree. Hopefully, the next health care provider I visit will practice that sentiment instead of using it as a way to garner additional payment. Remember that first, do no harm thing?

I'd certainly recommend you go someplace else if you're not interested in being over charged and made to feel unimportant as a living human who needs assistance to be healed.
