Even though this liquor store is small. The owner has had it for six years now in the last year been running it making it even better. Having great variety of wine and good small craft beer section. With beer specials every Thursday and wine tastings every Friday there is always something happening. Customer service is top notch. If they don't have it they will try to bring it in for you.They even have a cool new website.

Great neighborhood store with a really nice variety. They can special order things if you ask and if it's available from the vendor! Nice staff, clean store.

*****Update***** I spoke with Doug, the new owner, today. He apologized for the experience & promised to make sure a mistake like this does not happen again. I plan on going back to this business. The reason he did not receive a letter is because my source (KS Secretary of State) lists a different name on the Articles of Organization. The individual listed did get a letter mailed to him...as did the old owner.

I just want to tell everyone about an experience I had last night and ask you to avoid Nall Hills Liquor (formerly Knocky's Liquor) at 9541 Nall Avenue Overland Park, KS. Last night I walked in, as I have almost every weekend for the past 4-5 years, and was disrespected by an employee. I don't know how long he has worked there but I didn't recognize him and I recognize most of the employees there and they recognize me. He very rudely asked me to leave and wrongly called me a thief. He claimed to have caught me trying to steal in the past. It takes a lot to make me mad, but this guy found a way to do it. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I'm not mad about having to go to a different liquor store, as there are plenty of other options. I am angry about being accused of something I did not do. If you are going to call someone a thief...you better be 100% sure you have the right person. This company has lost one of their regulars, and someone who used to recommend others go there to support this smaller, locally owned business.

Terrible customer service with high prices to match. When I pulled up this kid that looked about 18 was outside in front smoking a cig turns out he was the cashier but he didn't come back in until he finished and I had been waiting at the counter for over 5 min he could see me waiting there . Save your time and Money go somewhere else!

I had a lady who said she was the owner try and help me the other day 3rd time in the store INA week she couldn't even remember me had to see my ID each time and couldn't even find the mascoto section in her own store don't go here

Excellent store! Doesn't have that big warehouse feel they went out of there way to make sure I got everything I was looking for gave me a 15% discount on the case of wine I purchased and carried it out to my car for me hard to find service like that anymore!

Excellent service I asked the manager if he could get my favorite Cabernet in he took my name and number and told me he would see what he could do three days later he called me and said it had just come in love this store!!!

*****Update on 7/1/12 review***** To everyone who read my previous post, I would like to let you know that within a couple days of mailing a letter to the current & previous owners regarding my issue at the store (being falsely accused of trying to steal), both Larry & Doug called me to apologize & discuss what happened. I was also informed that steps will be taken to make sure this doesn't happen again to anyone. I plan on going back & will ask for Doug as he would like to meet in person.

Nice smaller store with good selection. However, not an extensive selection of vines. Staff is courteous and friendly.
