Went there with a cough and feeling achy. First she tells me I could have the flu, I said no, I don't think so, no fever, it feels like chest cold with post nasal drip that I have had several times in the past. She asks me if it hurts when I cough, I said yes, it hurts, I've been dry-hacking almost 2 days. She listens to my breathing, says everything sounds clear, then proceeds to tell me she will have to refer me to an urgent care center (what is Minute Clinic?? Not urgent care? I guess not). She said she suspected pleurisy, and cannot treat there. I said I don't think I have pleurisy, just a chest cold. She says sorry, takes my copay, gives me a list of urgent care centers, one of them is 2 blocks away where I almost went anyway, but this place opened sooner. So I went to Pure Health, dx with chest cold, post nasal drip and some fluid in my ears, Zithromax prescribed and on my way. I should have gone there to start with, what "clinic" cannot even diagnose a chest cold?
