We've been to Mario's Restaurant because somebody recommended to us. The experience was terrible. Because we love good food and we've been to ITaly and we are Europeans, we decided to go! As soon as you get inside the restaurant it smells so moldy at the beginning, then you get used to it..... The meat balls very pricey, w no taste at all and the tomato sauce no flavor, very far from an Italian authentic one, more like the canned one w a pinch of sugar. The shrimp scampi I gave it back because it was just melted butter, and 5-6 bread crumbed shrimps. No taste no flavor at all:((((Mario's trio w vegetable of the day, another fail dish. 80% of the lasagna and chicken Parmesan is just tomato sauce, it's just disappointing! We gave back the food, after we taste it and left, I will never wanna hear about this restaurant.....

This is so reminiscent of Italian restaurants when I was kid! Great food--garlic bread is amazing and great service.

once a family favorite with quality food and special service, no longer quality or service minded, and often has trouble keeping basic menu items in stock. Forget it a painful loss for the community.

Although not listed on the menu, you MUST try the "Buccaneer", This is the Paella of all seafood dishes. The best I have ever had. The atmosphere is a bonus, the service has always been top notch. great bar to have a before dinner drink as well.Dan Spellacy Ormond Beach
