I attempted to have a nice lunch with my family at this restaurant today......

The potato pancake appetizer we ordered had a 6 inch hair in it and I asked them to take it back. We requested another potato pancake and we never got one so when the bill came out, I asked them to take it off our bill.

I was approached in a very confrontational manner by an angry manager who would not give me his name. He reeked of cigarette smoke and had extremely dirty fingernails.

I asked him to take this off our bill because we only ate a very small portion of it because of the hair that was in my food. This unknown/unnamed manager proceeded to tell me if I did not pay the bill in full he would call the police on is.

I was with my wife & three daughters under 10 and I have never been as insulted as I was today.

This was truly a terrifying situation for my three daughters and words do not explain how terrible this uncleanly manager made my whole family feel.

Very sad situation.

Decadent desserts! Their chocolate éclair was to die for. This was my first visit but definitely will not be my last. Very friendly staff.

I have never had such disgusting food! I had a horrible experience months ago when we went in for dinner. My prime rib dinner come out ice cold! After waiting over 15 min for someone to come to our table we had to ask the hostess for a manager. He arrived and proceeded to argue with us about the meal. He attempted to fix the problem by taking the prime rib back to the kitchen and putting it under the broiler. We left very unhappy and dissatisfied. Several months later I gave the restaurant a second chance with my co-workers against my better judgement. I ordered a chicken sandwich thinking that was a safe bet. My chicken was chewy and my bread was so soggy I could not eat it. On the way out we all stopped by the bakery for a few treats. I got a cannoli and took it back to the office. When I went to enjoy my treat I was three bites in and bit into a hard object. Upon further investigation I believe my foreign object was an old harden pickle. I would never recommend eating at Pickles!!!!

My husband and I have been there often and we just love it. Has great food and large portions. We usually take some home. Don't forget the desserts, they are enormous and so good.Never had a bad meal there yet.

Second time I have been here in a week. Both times no one was manning the hostess station. Both time take more than five minutes to be seated. surprise as dining area was all but deserted. First time everyone was watching TV at back bar area. This time it appeared that no one wanted to do their jobs. Management is lacking at this location. Be prepared to wait for unknown reasons.

I love that you can visit the pickle bar while waiting for your meal to arrive. HUGE menu, HUGE portions, and HUGE desserts. Yummy stuff.

Have you ever hungered for a really good pastrami on rye.

I moved to Florida in 1994, from the Los Angeles area, where

we had Johnnie's Pastrami & Phillips.

We have been looking for a really good sandwich ever since.

Look No Further. Great New York Deli style.

This was the a Full Stack. On the most wonderful Rye.

Even Buster Keeton loved this Rye.

And Great Kosher.

I truly found myself closing my eyes after each bite.

We have been back many times since.

Yankee Pot Roast is as good as mom would make.

We really haven't found anything we didn't like.

Staff is really great too. They make you feel like Family.

Don't forget the Pickle Bar.

I am not one to write reviews on restaurants, but this place deserves the publicity. My boyfriend, his friend and myself visited here two days ago. From the moment we walked in we all were impressed. The service was great, our waitress was polite and very helpful. We ordered apps, chicken wings and shrimp, they were the best any of us have ever had. Then I ordered a house salad and the whole thing was very fresh and very tasteful. We ordered the super stacker, which half had to be taken home because it was so good yet so big. And two sandwiches, they were great! Give this place a try like we did and you'll love it!
