I took my vehicle in to repair my dashboard gauges (speedometer, odometer, gas, and rpm dial) which had shut off. St. James reprogrammed the system and the gauges came back on. Within 3 weeks my gauges were out again and I brought the vehicle back in. They were connected again and within 2 weeks were out. When I asked what the problem was and how I could receive a permanent solution, I was told it's too expensive and to just drive the car as is. I asked what needs replacement and he said the Body Control Module, which would need to be repaired at the dealership. I took my vehicle to the dealership and they said it was simply a loose connection behind the console. I call St. James to see what kind of reimbursement could be offered as they did not fix the issue that caused me to bring in my car. I was told that he could do nothing because he "fixed" my car and I was able to drive it for a long time. He also stated that their work was only covered for 30 days. When I told him my gauges went out within that 30 day period, he said he was busy and to leave him alone. If you want quality work and good customer service do not take your vehicle to St. James Auto Electric and Service.
