I wouldve given this 5 stars if I was just rating Jessica, but due to the location of the Orlando office and where I live I decided to try the Lake Mary office. I set up an appointment with Davieca Singh not knowing what I was getting myself into. Davieca questioned my need for medication due to being a stay at home mom which showed me she was not educated in my condition. Although, after going onto my patient portal I noticed she logged my condition under something I do not even seek treatment for because it is not relative on a daily basis like the one I pay to treat. I opted to try a different form of the same medication I had been on for 10 years when I originally seeked treatment with Jessica because I had been on Medicaid which allowed me to afford to try it. I stated in my last appointment I noticed an increase in my blood pressure due to the change in the form of the medication. It has also affected my vision to the point where I am unable to drive at night. I felt Davieca was very bias and judgemental when I informed her of what had worked for me for 10 years after trying the other form. She stated the office policy doesnt allow her to prescribe the one that has worked for me for years. I am tired of being a lab rat just because someone doesnt agree with a certain form of medication that is commonly prescribed.
Jessica gets a 5 though, because she made me feel understood. She helped me understand how my (accurate) treatment resonates. She is amazing and I wish I could make the drive to see her instead.

I noticed the office has new staff in the front desk and that's good because they are a lot nicer. Glad they got rid of the rude ones. Dr. Raju and Donna are very nice and friendly. I wish that those of us who have good experiences would take the time to write a good review. They could do a better job with the furniture of the lobby, it's getting older and a lot has to do with how patients don't take care of the chairs they sit on. I like the therapists Orlando and Silvanna. They see my teenage boys and they are wonderful people and very professional. My boys love them.

Dr. Raju is running a pill-mill. If you are genuinely seeking help, this is not the place to receive. They constantly reschedule appointments. After moving my son's appointment, I went to the office anyway, he was in-crisis and had an outburst right there in the office, (he’s a new patient, 2nd visit). We saw Dr. Raju for all of 2 minutes. He never said a word to my son, just sent a refill electronically to CVS. I was attempting to ask Dr. R questions, he just brushed us off and quickly clicked a few links of an evaluation that I was pressing him for, printed it and we were done. His assessment is inaccurate of course, because he's never even sat down with my son to uncover his issues. I'm currently seeking a new dr., in the meantime if my son gets into serious trouble, I'm going to sue Dr. Raju for malpractice because he had an opportunity to take appropriate action and failed to do so.

I have been going to Orlando P...

I have been going to Orlando Psychiatric Associates for a few months now for help with anger and bipolar issues and had noticed the problems with the front desk as others have. However, when I mentioned these issues to therapist Dr. Robert, he got upset with me and terminated my treatment and threw me out of the office. This happened today, I would give it zero stars if possible. If anything, this place exacerbated my symptoms. Nobody at the office will accept any responsibility and in my opinion, hand out meds with little or no research. I am horrified by this place and the damage it may do to someone else in the future. Please avoid this place for your own good. Now I have to start all over.

Although I am not a patient, my son is. I tried to call to see about getting his medications refilled. It was after hours and I expected to get a recording telling me to leave a message or another number to call for the after hours answering service but got neither of those, instead what I did get was a voice mail that said the mail box was full and I would have to call back another time. REALLY?????? A psychiatric practice that had no way to be reached after hours or even a way to get a message to a Dr.? WOW...

Would not recommend this offic...

Would not recommend this office to anyone who has serious psychaitric needs, The front staff is unorganized and rude. The manager is a joke. The wait is long. If your lucky enough to see the Dr, he is good, to bad you wont stay because of his staff turnaround and his manager. Getting your childs psychiatric medicine is to important for these clowns to fool around with. Your better off going to lakeside than deal with these people. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!
