On November 30, 2012, BBB contacted Global Vacation Network, requesting information as to why the business believes the customers are filing the complaints, and what actions the business has taken to help eliminate the causes of complaints.
The business does not believe it has a pattern of complaints. The business believes that the majority of complaints specifically relate to marketing activities performed by, and incentives provided/fulfilled by, independent third party companies. Those complained-of activities are wholly outside the business's control and therefore should be attributed to the subject businesses and not Global Vacation Network.
BBB recommends that if you have any complaints or concerns, please contact Andrew Lyon at 206-937-1337 or [email protected] prior to contacting BBB.

Provided by YP.comRUN AS FAST AND AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE!!! The company misrepresents itself. It is a vacation time ownership and is very expensive! The "gifts" they promise when they contact you are non-existent. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Provided by YP.comI kept getting calls from Global Connections wanting me to come and listen to a 90 minute session and I would get free Airlilne tickets and a IPAD, finally I agreed. On May 12, 2012 at 12:00 pm was my scheduled appointment. I sat through the session and I was given a peice of paper to claim my prizes. I filled out the paper and sent it in to the promotions dept, never to received the IPAD, which by the way turns out to be a notebook not IPAD as the representative at the 800 number stated. They also said my IPAD was sitting in their office, which was also not a try statement. I called several times and still no notebook, they did send me information on how to claim my airline tickets, but when I finally tried to book them, it was going to cost more in fees than if I purchased them myself. Stay away from this company, they are not what they say, have high pressured sales people pounding on you and if you say no, you don't get what they promised and this will cost you $12,000. when you are done signing and will take you weeks to book any of this travel. I am sure global connections is a scam.

Provided by YP.comSTAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY-IT IS A SCAM AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. THEY NEED TO HAVE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT BROUGHT AGAINST THEM

Provided by YP.comThis business deserves a rating of F - and should be shut down. It is a scam and uses a company call "cruise drive fly" for marketing. All reservations must be made online, and it takes a long time (weeks) for them to get back to you ... If they do at all. The marketing company they use is "cruise drive fly". This company mails out post cards and lure people in with the promise of free airline tickets or cheap gifts. You then have to send money orders to pay for various fees. The tickets will cost you over $500 (non-refundable) before your done, and there are so many conditions it is unbelievable. The integrity of both companies are about the same. Buyer Beware!
