We are still open and have recently moved locations. We are located at 2730 N Forsyth Rd. Winter Park Fl, 32765. Less then two miles away from the old Goldenrod location! Great people. I run a shop, so I know a thing or two. It is difficult to please the public. These guys do a great job time after time and they are very trustworthy. Nobody is perfect and things happen, but they do the best job possible.

Had a very POOR experience. Added $$ to my quote with no prior call. Damaged my lower unit with a torch and would only repair it if I paid more. All for a simple impeller change on a perfectly working motor. I agreed with the owner on one thing, after I stated I wouldn't be back he said that was a good idea since they couldn't perform to my standards. My standards include good communication, quality work and responsibility, none of which I felt were met. I thought I was lucky for finding someone the week before Memorial Day, after 2 other marinas were full... guess I understand WHY they were available, now. There are too many good marinas in the area, I'll steer clear of this owner in the future.

The owner is most arrogant person I have ever met.

I bought a boat, during testing there was a couple of issues which the salesman put it in writing that it will be fixed. When I called to set up an appt. The owner told that salesman will pay for repairs out of his pocket. He quit when I told him and referred me to someone else to fix boat. It was the craziest experience I ever had.

This place is a rip off.

Boat Tune is a great place for all us boat owners. I've personally had to bring my boat down twice in the last year. The fellas there are complete pros and have their game down, especially this last time. I had a tournament on Saturday and thought they would never have it done on time, bon Ron, Victor & the guys got right on it. They even rushed parts for repair. I was so happy and satisfied they called me Friday around 4 to give me the good news.

So if you need the pros on your repairs these are the guys.

I moved from New York in 1995 because I love boating here in Florida. I was in need of service for my boat and researched many boat repair shops in Central Florida. Most places were reluctant to service my boat because of its high performance nature. Then I came across Boat Tune. They were up for the challenge and performed much needed work on my boat at a reasonable price. The quality of the work far exceeded what I was used to getting Up North. I got to meet and speak with the person who did the service and everything was explained to me in detail by the service writer. I was very happy with the work performed. Since then I have been a loyal customer of Boat Tune for over 18 years. I have had several high performance boats and some offshore center console boats since then. I have had them all serviced by Boat Tune. I used Boat Tune exclusively for all of my boating needs, whether it is service or parts. I can’t express enough words to describe the knowledge and helpfulness of both Bob (the owner) and Victor (service writer) I would highly recommend Boat Tune for anyone that needs honest and reliable work.

I'm reluctant to even give them two stars. Only reason they are getting that is because the sales people are super friendly and rather knowledgeable. Their service is horrid. I gave them my list of what I could afford to do and what needed to be done, and of course with any other problems noticed to notify me accordingly. They never notified me of anything. They returned the boat to me with the spark plugs not seated at all. I spun them out by hand. They never finished de-carbonizing the motor because they could not run it with the spark plugs not seated ($80 not completed). Considering my boat had the original water pump kit from the factory (7 years old) I told them to replace it and flush the motor because it was not circulating water properly ($215 partially completed). They did not flush it because the motor was never run to check if the problem was solved. I brought the boat back to them telling them about the problem. They said if it was something they did, they would take care of it. Otherwise it was going to be an additional $200.



I could've easily just ran the motor and blew it up, instead I told them about the problem not asking for anything at all. Then noticing another problem once I ran the motor, and bringing it back, it's like nothing mattered. I spent over $400 dollars replacing my trailer lights and services rendered there. Which I'm not even sure that my lower unit oil was even replaced.



My processes from now on will and always will be buying parts from them, but never paying for any service to be done again.

I had exceptionally good service at both the parts counter and the service desk. They are staffed with very friendly people with tons of knowledge. If they can't find it they'll call around for the correct answer and they are great about printing out a diagram for you. I would highly recommend them to anyone for anything related to boats!
