I would never recommend Dr. Birkmire to anyone! He is rude, arrogant, inconsiderate & his office is extremely disorganized. He has changed locations 3 times in just a few years and fails to call patients to inform them of the move. Also, good luck trying to get your medical records if you ever decide to change doctors. The only reason I continued as a patient was because he had a wonderful nurse practitioner that was very considerate & helpful. Please, save yourself the time and money and do not schedule an appointment with this doctor.

This office is horrible! They lost my records and blame everyone else for their mistakes. I am applying for disability and because of the office's unprofessional and disorganization, I dont have those records which will cost me disability.

According to Fl Statutes 64B8-10.002 Medical Records of Physicians Relocating or Terminating Practice; Retention, Disposition, Time Limitations, this office packed up and closed over a weekend because of the Dr's financial problems which is a huge violation of law.

Don't let this happen to you or again.

I have seen a number of medical professionals in my time and have never felt more disrespected than after visiting Birkmire's office. After paying $300 for my 1 hour appointment I waited over 1 hour to see the doctor. When I informed the front desk that I could not wait any longer I was ignored and they did not want to refund my money. They kept telling me that he would be right with me and that he spends extra time with his patients that need the time. I'm not sure how you run over an hour late for a 10 am appointment but the office staff was very rude and disrespectful. I WILL NEVER RETURN.
