High Point Elementary School, located in Orlando Park, Ill., is a public school that enrolls more than 500 students, and offers classes from grades three to five. It prepares students through a flexible education system, which begins their development into well-rounded adults, able to contribute to the community. Students apply problem-solving strategies learned through written, oral, technological and experiential applications in the classroom. The subjects cover core curricular areas, including English, mathematics, social science, science, health and physical education, and music and art. High Point Elementary School encourages all students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as its, band, student council and sports, such as basketball, volleyball and softball.
