It's the night before my wedding and I have to run to Jo-ann's. My mom's home working on wedding stuff and sends me with her debit card. While at the store I pick up my needed things and chat with the manager for a bit about my wedding and how frazzled I am getting things done.



I run out the door, arrive home and the debit card is missing. I call the store and she says I left it on the counter. I drive all the way back and she wants me to show her I.D. When I show her mine she says it's in a safe and until my mom comes to get it she's unable to return it. Using my mom's card was absolutely NO issue at check out. They didn't mind at all. And she knew I had just come in to pay.



My mom tried to talk to her on the phone and explain how busy we were getting everything ready. She refused to talk to my mom. We asked if we could speak to a store manager, she refused to give their information.



My mom had to drive 40 mins to the store. What makes me really sad is she knew my mom had loaned me the card. She loudly said in front of everyone in the store that she wasn't going to give a STRANGER someone else's credit card as if I was some sort of thief.



My mom and I have both shopped here for 40 years. We dress nice, we're polite, but I've never had someone treat me so rude. I wanted to make sure I had a relaxing fun week before my wedding and this woman destroyed that. I will never shop at a Joanne's again.
