Attending Pre-marital counseling was a must for my fiancé and I. When we were searching for a pre-martial counselor, we wanted someone who was experienced and trained in marital therapy, who we felt comfortable with, honored our values and could be honest with us throughout our journey. We found all that and more with Dr. Pam from the first email that outlined her guidelines as a Christian-based counselor and our virtual introductory meeting. She took the time to understood our goals and ensure not only were we a good fit for her, but wanted to make sure she was a good fit for us as well.

As an organizer and planner, I whole-heartedly appreciated from day 1, we knew exactly what to expect from the program. Dr. Pam provided course work for each session to be discussed as a group weekly, with a recap following every session and included homework, reference sheets, and assessments for my partner and I. She was readily available when needed via email and phone. And during the pandemic, we were able to hold each session virtually and it never took away from physically being in her presence.

We received a lot of knowledge, learned new things about each other and discovered a few things about ourselves as individuals during the course of two months. We did more than just finish the course, we put time and effort into solidifying the foundation of our relationship to carry us through past the wedding day. I am thankful for Dr. Pam and would recommend her course to anyone who wants to invest in their relationship and future marriage together with their partner.

Dr. Pam was amazing. I was skeptical about taking pre-marital course. I thought it would be boring. I couldn’t be more wrong. Each session was thoroughly enjoyable and I found myself looking forward to the next appointment. My fiancé and I are from different countries and cultures and Dr. Pam worked with us on finding new ways of resolving disagreements and blending our cultures. I can not recommend her enough.

Having a vision is empowering, but it is not enough if you can’t get started. Your Vision Writers got us on the way. Spending the time to talk with us and find out what we were trying to do was only the beginning. Our Business Plan was completed along with our website, newsletter and blog. Our Board of Directors information was written and disseminated. There is not enough room for all that was done to get is on our way. What is most profound is YVW was a god send to A God Send!
