After 4 visits I can faithfully say the overall vibe here is consistently negative. All of the employees (including the assistant manager, an older blonde woman) have all blatantly ignored & then talked snippy to me during checkout. I'm a kind & understanding person & not sure what kind of negativity is going on behind the scenes here, but it's evident the moral is low & someone needs to boost these girls up. I realize this is a new store, and can only hope ULTA as a whole can figure out their operations & make the environment a pleasing atmosphere.

My experience with the company Ulta in Orange City was like no other I have experienced. I was recently hired before the store had been open to be a seasonal team member. I had no intentions of continuing permanently, but I had been told to help for season. I had agreed to help set up the store and was excited to have the experience to help Ulta and learn about the products as much as I am a makeup fanatic. As the grand opening was approaching I had not been told hours or days I would be working, while a lot of other girls did and it didn't make any sense to me why they would hire someone for setup temp, and not explain it in the interview. As I had intended to stay for season, I was told they didn't need me. I honestly wondered why they didn't tell me in the first place but it was just because they needed all the girls they can, as selfish as ulta is, they do not care about their employees. I left ulta before grand opening and expected to receive a paycheck for my 2 weeks worth of set up. I come to find out that they have no paycheck for me as I called a week later, still didn't hear anything and was getting frustrated with the company. It has been two weeks and I still have no received my paycheck and told it was not going to be an issue. The general manager and all of the other managers there are terrible managers and do not care about their employees. As she was bribing me with free gifts, all I wanted was my paycheck. I demand to receive it as much as it takes I will get an attorney involved and settle the issue. No longer will I be a Ulta customer or recommend the store to anyone.
