Provided by YP.comI had a recently purchased used boat that had an alarm sounding from the dash buzzer only when the boat was in neutral. I assumed a heat sensor.
My better judgment told me I should probably have the boat looked at before its maiden voyage on my wife's birthday.
Saunders yard told me to stop in on the way to the launch for a quick look. An immediate appointment with a service tech was totally unexpected.
Upon further inspection the water pump in the lower showed wear and needed to be replaced. The tech then noticed the motor was running rough and discovered that the fuel system had water in it. While he drained the tank I took one of thier ( Saunders) fuel cans to a local station and filled with fresh marine fuel. After a complete check and drain of the fuel system the motor ran perfect. The mechanic suspected that the alarm was for water in the fuel. Had I not made this service stop and had the immediate attention from the Saunders staff , I would have had a terrible and frustrating day on the water.
For the services I received they were very reasonable with their rates and charges.
My wife and I had a great afternoon ride around the local bay and docked for dinner at her favorite restaurant.
Thank you Scott, Dane and Brody!
One happy customer.
