Emotional Roots - is one that inspires me and reminds me of the important growth that happens for all of us at a very early time in our lives. Just as soil, sun and water support the growth of strong roots for a tree, in families it is parents, siblings, extended family members, childcare providers and other special people who support the healthy development that leads to lifelong success. This occurs in a myriad of ways, but most significantly, through nurturing and responsive relationships.
