I have brought parts from the business for some time now and the owner is Always helpful and has always given me the right parts. I do recommend this business I have never had a problem in dealings with the owner. (nelson Omaha)

Omaha Foreign does sympathize with the customers frustration over receiving the incorrect engine however, he displayed an attitude with us even over the phone when he initially called about the problem. We desperately tried to locate the correct engine for him and after no luck, did tell the customer that we would refund his money.Customer returned the engine with the manifolds off, timing belt off, timing covers off and pulleys off. We sold him a COMPLETE engine and that is what we expect in return. You cannot purchase a used appliance, tear it apart and then expect the seller to take it back in pieces. That is EXACTLY what I told him. He became verbally abusive and we firmly told him that when the engine was complete (as what was sold to him) that we would gladly refund his money. When the customer called to say that the engine was put back together, we sent our driver to his house to pick up the engine and refunded his money in full.Customer NOW states that oil was spilled inside his Jeep when our employee put the engine in for him. This is the FIRST we have heard about this! He NEVER said a word to us about this nor did he say anything to our employee when he picked up the motor. This sure seems strange to us!The customer was confrontational to us and NEVER did we act as though it was going to become physical. His frustration took over his emotions and as was stated before, we do sympathize with the whole situation, but will not tolerate that behavior in our business. The customers money WAS refunded in full!

I bought a "1.8L" engine for my 97 Mazda Protege here. I got the engine bolted into my car and then found out that nothing fit properly. I called to find out what happened. The owner reviewed the records of the donor car and found out the engine was in fact a 1.5L model. They did not have the correct engine so I was instructed to bring the engine back for a refund.



I had taken the manifolds off the engine as I went along in order to check for fitment. I had also removed the timing belt to put a new one on as I installed the engine. When I brought the engine back (complete but not 100% together) I was told I could not have my refund. I reminded the owner that this was a problem created by his own company's negligence but he would not return my money. The owner was extremely confrontational. I thought he was going to take a swing at me.



He told his worker to put the engine back in my Jeep. The employee put the engine in on its side and oil spilled all over the inside of my Jeep.



I buy a lot of used parts for personal projects and for others, and I will NEVER return to this place again. AVOID!
